Just south of the river is one of London’s most dynamic areas with regeneration projects valued in the billions. Borough, Bankside and Bermondsey are in a sustained period of change, with many new developments such as Neo Bankside by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, The Shard and London Bridge Place (nicknamed Baby Shard) nearing completion.

New cultural venues have moved into one of the oldest quarters of London as industrial buildings are being put to new uses.

Housing developments are transforming communities such as Wansey Street Development (dRMM) and Alexander Fleming House by Ernö Goldfinger (now Metro Central Heights) in Elephant and Castle.
