Dan Doctoroff has been President of Bloomberg since January 2008. Prior to that he was Deputy Mayor of New York with responsibility for Economic Development and Rebuilding. According to Mayor Bloomberg, Doctoroff "has done more to change the face of this city than anyone since Robert Moses".

He was responsible for PlaNYC, New York's equivalent of the London Plan and was Bloomberg's man-on-the-ground for the rebuilding of Lower Manhattan after 9/11. A keen cyclist, Doctoroff was also the driving force behind the Hudson River Park which runs down the west side of Manhattan. Doctoroff can provide an unrivalled perspective of NY/Lon, both from a city planning perspective and as the client for Foster's new Bloomberg HQ in the City of London.
