Hayward Gallery
This summer, Hayward Gallery transforms into Wide Open School. More than 100 international artists, including Antony Gormley, Tracey Emin, and Jeremy Deller, will lead classes and give lectures and performances on subjects that inspire them. This is a unique opportunity find out how artists think about and question things and to observe their creative processes.
Architects, designers, and artists will lead classes in various locations including Fritz Haeg’s geodesic dome on Hayward Gallery Roof. Create your own banners with Jeremy Deller and Ed Hall or ‘zines with Dan and Lia Perjovschi, consider issues of sustainability and protest, and learn how to camouflage yourself in the city with Tobias Putrih. Other artists include Lee Bul, Tomás Saraceno, Harrell Fletcher, Lucy and Jorge Orta, Bob and Roberta Smith, Marjetica Potrč and Richard Sennett, Qiu Zhijie and Bonnie Camplin, Kieron Livingston & friends.
